Surfboard Art Displays

Shaped by Juan Rodriguez, these surfboards are 1/3 scale replicas of the 1960's  style longboards. All of the boards are individual pieces of art crafted from some of the finest hardwoods.   Juan shapes these boards from  black cypress, mahogany, birch, poplar, oak, and other exotic hardwoods. Once the board is shaped, it is glassed and polished giving a high gloss finish that brings out the beautiful wood grain. The dimensions are three feet long, seven and one half inches wide and the thickness is right at an inch.
